RS Electrical Bio-Filter series is a hang-on back (HOB) Aquarium Filtration unit. Beneficial bacteria grow & work very effectively as water passes through the included removable filter pads. The RS Bio-Filter offers easy maintenance, just open the lid and rinse or replace the included filter pads as required or at regular intervals. Uneaten food and solid fish waste can be easily spotted & removed before they can break down into the system. The RS HOB Filter also has a good gas exchange ratio, with filtered water returning to the aquarium at a good flow rate, creating strong water circulation & bringing high levels of dissolved oxygen down to the lower regions of the Aquarium.
